Seminars
One service we would like to start offering in the near future is weekend seminars for churches of Christ. Formatted somewhat like a gospel meeting on a small scale with a session of technical help covering wherever you may need on Sunday afternoon. If your congregation is implementing a web site administered by OWT, this session would likely revolve around getting the most out of the site, but would not necessarily be limited to that.
A schedule might look like this:
- Saturday Evening:
- Lesson/Devotional
- Sunday Morning:
- Adult Class: Effective Use of Tech/Web Site
- Lesson
- Sunday Afternoon:
- Pick your workshop topic (web site, auditorium tech, computer use for the church, etc.)
Sunday evening lessons and potlucks are optional and depend on schedules.
Lessons may be tailored to your specific needs. If you have something not listed in mind, we can accommodate.
Lesson topics may include:
- Social Media
- On-line Community Outreach
- Off-line Outreach
- When Technology Goes Bad
- How to Effectively Administrate Your Site
